Hālatunnabi is the most popular text in the Muslim community in Bengal. According to the poet, the manuscript form was completed in 1262 BE (1853-1854 AD). It narrates in Payār and Tripodi verse the story of Creation and the life of the Prophet Muhammad and his ascension to Heaven.
