- Scribal features: Ornamental headpieces are found at the beginning of each Gospel.
- Binding: Contemporary binding with bosses on upper and lower boards, and painted fore-edges.
- Scribes: Written by Konstantinos Patzes (Κωνσταντῖνος Πατζης, Repertorium 1A, no. 226), scribe and notary, at the behest of Callinicus, hieromonk and archimandrite of a monastery of St Demetrius, A.M. 6834 = A.D. 1325/1326 (f. 269v).
- Custodial History:
- Owned by the Monastery of St Catherine on Mount Sinai, according to a note on the inside of the upper cover. Procured by the Right Rev. Samuel Butler, D.D., bishop of Lichfield (d. 1839).
