1. f. 1. ‘Recito. Accompd.’ , ‘Arise, behold’, for the character of ‘Poetry’ and strings.
2. ff. 2-4. ‘No. 18’, recitative, ‘At length repentant youth’, and the start of an air, ‘The stream that environ’d her Cot’. The music was also used for ‘The Tear of Sensibility’ from ‘Castles in the Air’ (printed by the author, [1793?]).
3. ff. 5-10. Recitative, ‘But ah, how alter’d was its sprightlier tone’ and air, ‘The hunter’s call to dawn and dryad known’. Only the melody and bass line are written for most of the movement.
4. ff. 11-12. Air, ‘Cupid now, thou God of love’.
