C. Letters (21) from Vaughan Williams to Miss Evelyn Sharp; [1927]-1937. Partly autograph; partly in Adeline Vaughan Williams’s hand, signed by the composer. With two typewritten carbon copies of letters from Evelyn Sharp to Vaughan Williams and other related correspondence. The letters relate to ‘The Poisoned Kiss’, for which Evelyn Sharp adapted the libretto from Richard Garnett’s story. Presented by Mrs Ursula Vaughan Williams, March 1998.
