A. EMILE WALDTEUFEL: ‘Toujours Aimée’, waltz for piano; 1902. Probably autograph, signed and dated by the composer (f. 5v). In ink, with pencil annotations. A note on the cover records that the manuscript was ‘sent in to John Blore by Baron de Belabre & passed to MPD via Kenneth Wright’. An alternative title, ‘Âme d’Artiste’, was written in pencil and erased from f. 2. Apparently published as ‘Âme d’Artiste’ by the Società italiana di Fonotipia, Milan, in 1907. Purchased from Mrs Stanford Robinson, Oct. 1994.
