- (1). ff. 1-5. Fanfare for trumpets and timpani (commissioned by the Royal Academy of Music for the 150th Anniversary Banquet, 1972). Two A4 photocopy manuscript scores (one annotated in pencil). With typed message to Berkeley (on a Chester Music compliment slip): 'Here is the score of your Fanfare which James Stobart has written out. Please let me know soon that you are happy for it to be recorded.' First performance: London, Savoy Hotel, 14 July 1972. Trumpeters of the Band of the Royal Marines, cond. Major Paul Neville.
- (2). ff. 6-14. Elegy arranged for string orchestra, Op. 33, no. 2b. Autograph full score, in black ink (outer bifolium + 1 bifolium with 2 pasted-down corrections), signed twice and dated April 1978. Dedicated: 'In memory of Essie [Craxton] and to the Craxton family'. Also, in undated pencil draft, as arranged for Violin and string orchestra (1 bifolium).
- (3). ff. 15-17. No. III only of ‘Four pieces for Small Orchestra’. Undated autograph full score in black ink (3 bifolia).
