First performance: London, Queen's Hall, 17 June 1938. London Select Choir and the BBC Orchestra, cond. Arnold Fulton.
- (1). Dyeline copy, in soft buff covers. The verso of the front cover is stamped: 'N.B. / 36 Rue Ballu / Paris-9' [address of Nadia Boulanger]. Signed within the copy on p. 1, and dated '1937' at the end of the score. Dedication: 'To Mdlle. Nadia Boulanger'. Pagination: 1-3, 2-4, 4-18. Annotated in pencil: pp. 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, and 18v.
- (2). A dyeline copy of the above dyeline copy which copies the pencil annotations. The front cover is copied but there is no back cover. It contains an additional pencil annotation on the verso of p. 18, where there is a further pencil sketch (1-bar melody).
