Ivory counters admitting Directors, etc., of the Society to concerts; 1821, 1825, n.d. Each has the words ‘Philharmonic Society’ on one side, with the name of the person issued with the ticket on the other. All but three tickets issued in individual names also specify the office held within the Society, most commonly Director. Three tickets have a name with no office specified; two have no name but instead the wording on one ‘Conductor’, on the other ‘Leader’. The names are listed in the index.
