With a note about the provenance history of the volume in the hand of Robert Smith and dated ‘July 8th 1803’ (ff. iii-iv). On f. 1 is a note about the copyist by Walter Emery, dated 23 september 1957: "Comparison with Larsen’s facsimiles suggests Smith senior, in accordance with Robert Smith’s statement’.
