The arrangement of the MS. is as follows: f.51v: Recitatives down to ‘vostro core’. f. 52: Air for Nicandro ‘Or trionfar’ (not in H-G). ff. 52v-55v: Recitatives and air ‘Tu solcasti’ (H-G., p. 69-74). f. 56: End of ‘Tu solcasti’ followed by ‘Scena ultima’. f. 56v: Recitative for Mercury, ‘Del supremo Tonante’, down to ‘ardenti delle Britannie’ (H-G., p. 80). f. 57: ‘Cara nel tuo bel volto’, duet (H-G., p. 75). f. 61: Continuation of Mercury’s recitative.
4. f. 64v. A short recitative to precede ‘Sol prova contenti’ is crossed out. On f. 65 is the chorus ‘Dalla stirpe degli eroi’.
5. f. 68. ‘Fine dell’Opera G.F.H. April 22. 1736’.
