Points of note:
1. f. 5v. Act I, sc. 2. A ‘Sinfonia. Andante’ of eight bars is crossed out after the stage directions (H-G., p. 7).
2. f. 20. Sc. 5. The recitative (H-G., p. 22) is on f. 52. At the end of ‘Ritorna al suo bel viso’: ‘Attacca il Recit. Angelica. Spera il mio ben’.
3. f. 21. Sc. 6. Recitatives for Medoro and Angelica at the beginning of the scene (Scene 5 in the MS.) are crossed out.
4. ff. 23v-24. Sc. 7. ‘Se’l cor mai’ (H-G., p. 26) is shortened by crossed out passages.
5. ff. 28-32. Sc. 10. ‘Fammi combattere’ (H-G., p. 33). Three leaves (ff. 28v-29v) as originally set have been crossed out.
6. f. 61v. Act II. ‘Fine dell’Atto 2do Nov. 10’. The rest of the page contains a sketch (Treble and Bass only) for the Sinfonia (H-G., p. 73), crossed out in ink.
7. f. 62. A similar sketch (crossed out), unfinished.
8. f. 63. Act III. ‘Scena 1’. (As in H-G., p. 73).
9. f. 73-76. ‘Sorge infausta’ (H-G., p. 88) is marked ‘Allegro’. The air was originally longer, 16 bars being cut (in pencil) after H-G., p. 89, last line, last bar, and further cuts after the end of p. 90, line 2, bar 1.
10. f. 89. ‘Fine dell’Opera G. F. Handel November 20 1732’.
