Points of note:
1. ff. 3v-4v. The Overture (ff. 1-3v) is followed by ‘Sinfonia della Scena 11 [Act I, sc. 9] le Corna [sic] di Caccia sul Teatro’, much shortened in pencil (H-G., p. 28).
2. f. 5. Act I, sc.1. ‘Alessandro nelle Indie: Atto I, Scena 1’. Poro’s recitative begins: ‘Fermatevi codardi’ (not ‘compagni’, as in H-G.).
3. ff. 5-10. Throughout the Act the recitatives are written consecutively, with indications of the place of the airs and duet, which follow (ff. 11-32).
4. f. 32. At foot of page: ‘Fine dell’atto primo Mercordi li 23 Decembr 1730’.
5. f. 34. Act II, sc. 1. The recitative for Gandarte in H-G., p. 41 is not in the MS.
6. f. 54v. ‘Fine dell’Atto 2do G. F. Handel Decembr 30, An[n]o 1730’.
7. f. 57v. Act III, sc. 3. Version A (H-G., p. 71) is in the MS.
