f. i is a note in the hand of F. Nicolai. ff. 14v, 85v and 104v are ruled with staves but otherwise blank.
Points of note:
1. f. 1. Overture ‘di G. F. Hendel’[sic].
2. ff. 4-6. The ‘Matelot’ (f. 4), marked ‘3’, so as to follow the ‘Sarabande’ (f. 5) (marked ‘2’). The ‘Menuet’ (f. 6v) is marked ‘4’ and the ‘Bourré’ (f. 5v) ‘5’.
3. f. 15. Act I, sc. 1 and part of sc. 2 are missing. The MS. begins as in H-G., p. 13.
4. f. 48. ‘Fine dell’Atto primo’.
5. f. 48v. Sketches, in Handel’s later handwriting. (a) ‘Vien’ (Teseo, H-G. LX, p. 56, ‘Vieni, torna, idolo mio’); (b) ‘Non so piu che bramar’ (Teseo, id. p. 45); (c) The opening bars of ‘Risplendete, amiche stelle’ (Teseo, id., p. 54); (d) Unidentified.
6. ff. 61-74. Act II, sc. 3. At the end of the recitatives (H-G., p. 55) the opening bars of ‘Fredde ceneri’ (H-G., p. 58) have been written and crossed out (in ink).
7. f. 85. ‘Fine dell 2 Atto’.
8. f. 86. (H-G., p, 78). The beginning of Act III is missing.
9. ff. 103v-104. Act III, sc. 9 (H-G., p. 94) (scene 7 in the MS). The MS. contains two versions of the recitative for Evanco: ‘Bella Florinda…appese’.
10. f. 106v. (H-G., p. 95). The end is missing.
