Points of note:
1. f. 1v. The lowest line of the Allegro (H-G, p. 2) is marked: ‘Violonc: Contrabassi Cemb.’ The ‘Introduzione’ (H-G., p.6) is on f. 85, crossed out in ink.
2. f. 11. Act I, sc. 5. ‘D’ogni amator’ (H-G., pp. 16-17, version A).
3. f. 22. Sc. 11. ‘La sorte mia tiranna’ (H-G., p. 28), marked: ‘Andante’.
4. f. 24v. ‘Vedeste mai sul prato’ (H-G., p. 30). ff. 24v-25 contain part of a version written a third higher, but crossed out.
5. f. 25v. ‘Vedeste mai’, as in H-G., p. 30.
6. ff. 28v-36v. The arrangement of the MS. from here is as follows: End of ‘Vedeste mai’. f. 29: Pencil note (in Dr. Burney’s handwriting): ‘This and the 7 following leaves belong to an opera written originally by Apostolo Zeno called Flavio Olibrio’. Rcitatives (words only) for Olibrio and Placidia. Air (S.) for Placidia, originally set to words beginning ‘Hò nel seno, crossed out and ‘Or mi perdo’ (H-G., p. 37) written above. f. 31v: ‘Scena 6ta. Olibrio e Flacilla’. Recitatives (words only) and air for Olibrio; original words beginning ‘Stimo fedele’, altered to ‘Chi è più fedele’ (H-G., p. 34). f. 33v: ‘Scena 7ma. Flacilla sola’. Recitative (words only) and f. 34: ‘Son come un arboscello’. Air (S.). (Not in H-G.). f. 36: ‘Scena 8. Sala Regia. Mentre dall’una delle parti entrano Genserico, Honorico ed Elmige con guardie, vengono dal fondo del Teatro Eudosio e Placidia con seguito di Damigelle, e guardie Romane’. f. 36v: Recitatives (words only), ending the fragment of Flavio Olibrio.

8. f. 37. An inserted leaf with a note in the hand of F. Nicolai.

16. f. 64. Act III, sc. 2. The beginning of a setting of ‘Se il caro figlio’; crossed out, followed by that in H-G., p. 72.
17. f. 81v. Sc. 12. ‘Laodice entra’ – at the words: ‘Quivi aperto’ (H-G., p. 92).
18. f. 82. ‘Torrente cresciuto’ (H-G., p. 93). No tempo is marked.
