1. ff. 1-3v. ‘La Solitudine’. ‘Cantata’. For Alto and figured bass (HWV 121) (H-G. L, p. 107). Unfinished, ending in sketches. The words of the unset recitative (H-G., p. 109) should read: ‘Non v’è delizia humana soave più…dalle cure lontana vivo lieti i miei giorni’, etc. Author of the text unknown.
2. ff. 4-7v. ‘Cuopre talvolta il cielo’. ‘Cantata a voce solo con stromenti’. For Bass (HWV 98) (H-G. LII a, p. 121). Author of the text unknown. For a copy see Add. MS. 31555 (ff. 259-267).
3. ff. 8-9. ‘Se pari è la tua fe’. ‘Cantata X’ For Soprano and figured bass (HWV 158) (H-G. LI, p. 102). Author of the text unknown. For copies see Eg. 2942 (ff. 51-53v), Add. MSS. 14212 (ff. 2-8v), 29484 (ff. 67v-70v), 31574 (ff. 6v-10v).
4. f. 10. ‘La Bianca Rosa. Cantata’. For Soprano and figured bass (HWV 160) (H-G. LI, p. 86). The first two words only of the recitative ‘Se vien’ are written, but with all the notes. At the end: ‘Aria, e certo all’or. ex A #’. Author of the text unknown. See also below; for copies see R.M.19.e.7. (ff. 102-105v), Eg. 2942 (ff. 10-11v) and Add. MS. 14182 (ff. 17v-22v).
5. ff. 11-12. ‘La Bianca Rosa. Cantata’. For Soprano and figured bass (H-G. L, p. 76). The alternative ending (H-G., p. 79, B) is pencilled in the MS. Author of the text unknown. See above.
6. f. 12v. ‘Air’ in A major, for harpsichord (HWV 468). In a later handwriting. A version of a tune used by M. A. Cesti, A. Scarlatti and by Handel in Agrippina, La Resurrezione, the Cantata ‘Ah crudel nel pianto mio’, and Joshua. (See F. Chrysander, G. F. Handel, Leipzig, 1858, vol. I, p. 196).
