Purcell’s ‘Score Booke containing severall Anthems wth symphonies’. At f. 85 the volume is reversed, and beginning at the other end the title reads ‘Score booke. Anthems welcome songs and other songs all by my father’. There is an inaccurate and incomplete table of contents. All the music is in score, and for voices and instrumental accompaniment, except where stated to have bass accompaniment only. The volume was once the property of ‘Ed. H. Purcell grandson to the Author of this Book’.
At f. 85 the volume is reversed.
