3. 8 ff. Rossini (Gioacchino Antonio): Questo cor ti giura amore; early 19th century. Duet; with symphonies and accompaniment for oboes, clarinets, bassoons, horns and strings, in score. Once the property of ‘P. Hardy’.

4. 7 ff. Rossini (Gioacchino Antonio): T’abbraccio ti stringo; early 19th century. Cavatina from an opera; with symphonies and accompaniment for flutes, oboes, bassoon, horns and strings, in score.

5. 15 ff. Rossini (Gioacchino Antonio): [Il Barbiere di Seviglia] Ah qual colpo; 19th century. Terzetto; with symphonies and accompaniment for flutes, bassoons, clarini, horns, trumpets and strings, in score.

6. 6 ff. Sacchini (Antonio Maria Gasparo): Lieta quest’alma (Erifile); 19th century. Aria copied out in a compressed score, made according to the note on the titlepage ‘for the Antient Concert’.

7. 18 ff. Sarti (Giuseppe): Il pastor, se torna Aprile; early 19th century. ‘Aria obbligata con li Calascioncini o pure con il Cembalo con tutto li Strumenti …’, being oboes solo, flutes taversieri, horns and strings. In 1873 the property of W.G. Cusins.

8. 20 ff. Sarti (Giuseppe): [L’Olimpiade] Oh generosa oh grande; followed by Rendi o cara. ‘Scena e Rondo’ performed at the ‘Teatro delle Dame, Roma 1785’; with oboes, horns and strings.

9. 4 ff. Sarti (Giuseppe): Dolce sono [sic] dolce obblio. Quartet from an opera; with instruments, presumably horns and strings, in score.

10. 10 ff. Travers (J.): Pleasures enchanted Ground; early 19th century. ‘Canzonet for 3 voices’; with bass accompaniment.

11. 7 ff. Anon: Son qual nave; early 19th century. Aria; with symphonies and accompaniment for strings. On the top of f. 1 is written ‘Banti’. It was probably sung by Signora Banti, the opera singer.

12. 1 f. Wiebé (Edward): ‘Blest are the Departed’; Jan. 24, 1879. An ‘In Memoriam’ song, written Jan. 24, 1879, in Hamburg, and dedicated to Queen Victoria. For 4 voices and organ.

13. 4 ff. Anon: Portugese Airs; 19th century. A set of 3 airs; with pianoforte accompaniment. The first is stated to be ‘From Mr. Chatterton’.

16. 2 ff. Galuppi (Baldassare): Caro qual lieto (Tolomeo); 19th century. ‘Das Duetto in der Opera Tolomeo; ins Deutsche übersetzt’. In short score for violins, and a figured bass. The singers are Signora Mattei and Signor Elisi.

17. 16 ff. Anon: A collection of Portugese Airs; 19th century. A set of 6 airs, with pianoforte accompaniment, all stated to be ‘From Mrs Waymouth’.
