PETTY PAPERS. VOL. XXI (ff. 156). 'Down Survey', Volume 'D', containing surveys of the province of Munster; 1656. Munster comprises the counties of Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford; 1656. The present volume contains surveys of Waterford, Tipperary and Limerick; the volume containing the maps of Cork and Kerry has been missing since the early 18th century, as indicated above, but see 72872, ff. 136-189, for the areas surveyed for the 'adventurers', and 72873 B-E for maps of the baronies of Carbury, co. Cork, and Dunkerron and Iveragh, co. Kerry.
