(5) Correspondence relating to the administration and representation of Mindelheim; 1706-1715. As follows: — (a) Letters and accounts of Johann Joseph, Baron von Imhoff, as the administrator (Oberpfleger) of Mindelheim, 1706-1714, followed (f. 119) by a draft in Cardonnel's hand of d-letter from Marlborough to lmhoff, 1715. French. Included (f. 99) in a letter from Imhoff to Marlborough, 20 Jan. 1708, but now bound separately, is a table in Latin entitled 'Successio Comitatûs nunc Principatus Mindlehemensis', measuring 507 mm. x 641 mm., initialled, bottom right. 'I[ohannes] I[osephus] B[aron] I[m] H[off] 1707'. It lists the seven families that held Mindelheim from circ. 1363, concluding with the Duke, with armorial bearings in tincture. A duplicate was owned by Mindelheim Museum in 1917. ff. 81-120b; — (b) Letters from Benjamin Sweet, Paymaster of British forces in the Low Countries, to Imhoff, acknowledging receipt of monies from Mindelheim, including a receipt from J. H. Rauner, a banker in Augsburg (f. 149); 1707-1712.
