'A Booke [sh]ewinge the true and auncient Genealogie of Sir Roger Moston of Moston in the county of Flint Knight [grandfather of Sir Roger Mostyn, Ist Bart.]. . . anno 1623', with additions to 1628 (see f. 18, which notes the creation of Sir Richard Young as a baronet, March 10th 1628; this pedigree corrects and supplements the entry on Young in the Complete Baronetage); followed by a list of most of the pedigrees of the related families in the book, viz: Wynnes of Brynkinalt and of Eyarth; Lloyds of Tallarn and of Haughton; Young of Hope Dale; Edwardes of Chirk; Bedow of Hammer; Trevors of Plas-tag, of Oswestry, of 'Plantikenrick', of Brynkinalt, of Derwen, of Ellesmere and of Trevalyn; Dymock of Willington and Pennant of Holywell (f. 1). Including shields of arms and crests for some of these families. White vellum binding, gilt-stamped, with linen ties. Woodcut armorial bookplate of Catton inside back cover.
