Notebook covers a range of work including notes on patients’ illnesses and treatments, for example acne, abscesses, tuberculosis arthritis and pyosalpinx. The book also contains graphs, for example illustrating a mild uncomplicated scarlet fever of a male aged ten and Sir Almroth Wright’s bactericidal method and agglutinins mean curves.

Experiments with an acetone vaccine, results include bactericidal, opsonics and agglutinins.
i) Acetone typhoid experiment I - Results and graphs from tests on rabbits.
As this section is focused particularly on a typhoid vaccine, the work may have formed part of Fleming’s and S. R. Douglas’s article ‘On the Antigenic Properties of Acetone-Extracted Bacteria’, British Journal of Experimental Pathology, 1921, volume 2.
