FLEMING PAPERS. Vol. LXI. 11 Sept. 1929-7 May 1931.
ff. ii + 29. 277 x 223mm. Ring binder with hard, black cover. It was advertised as a ‘simplex’ notebook.
As the notebook is a ring binder it is difficult to know if the papers are in the correct order. The notebook seems to have originally housed plain paper and this has been supplemented with other pieces of plain and lined paper. The spine of the notebook has a label on it with ‘Clinical’ written on it and it seems as if the notebook was used for recording information about patients.
Notebook includes:
1. f. 1. Piece from a medical calendar for Thursday 3 July 1929 with notes on about toxic granules. Also has a note in top right hand corner ‘July 31 29 airport’.
2. f. 2. Notes on colonies picked of plates and put onto boiled blood agar (R. F, R. E. and Bishop). Information includes where the sample is from, if it is a mould or not, colony type and description of microbe; 11 Sept. 1929.
3. f. 3. Boiled blood agar plates, includes description of bacteria; 25 Oct 1929.
