Experiments related to Fleming’s patient Harry Lambert. He was suffering from meningitis. Fleming went against Florey’s advice and gave Lambert an intrathecal injection of penicillin before it had been tested on animals, saving Lambert’s life. This section of work follows through Fleming’s treatment of Lambert, experiments he carried out with his blood, serum etc and a record of his condition over time.
