Inside the back cover is a label for ‘Geo. Pulman & Sons, Ltd., 24 Thayer Street, London, W.1’.

It seems as though Fleming has used it to make notes on a range of experiments, patients, ideas, and theories etc. This is illustrated by lack of page numbers after page 64. There are some defined sections of work.

A section of pages at the front of the notebook have been removed.
