17 Feb. Discussion with Himmel regarding position within the Department.
18 Feb. Discussion with Vos in regards to Himmel.
21 Feb. Meeting with Col. Parkes (House Governor, St. Mary’s Hospital), relating to a solution regarding the combination of the Inoculation Department coming under the umbrella of the Hospital.
25-26 Feb. Talks with Vos, Craxton and Young regarding joining the Hospital.
29 March. Council Members meeting.
2 April. Meeting with Holt regarding staff in the department and Himmel.
1 July. Meeting with Jacob and Himmel. Also meeting with Vos and [Sir Andrew?] Duncan who agreed that if [the department] can maintain independence then good to join Hospital.
13 Aug. Discussion of Himmel and Jacobs.
Sept. Jacob taken a job at Teddington and Himmel trying to find another job.
Dec. Continuing discussions regarding Himmel and a possible Rectorship.
