This Treatise, which is usually ascribed to Robert Parsons the Jesuit, was first published abroad in 1584. It was again printed in England in 12^mo. 1641. See an Account of it in the first edition of the Biographia Britannica, Vol. III. p. 1793. Art. DUDLEY.
