The dates are often omitted, and chronological order is not followed. In the latter part of the volume are several documents of a different character and earlier date, e.g. the letter of Henry V. to the King of France in 1419 proposing peace (f. 120), the names of counties and boroughs sending representatives to parliament in the reign of Henry VIII. (f. 129), a list of nobles who came over to England with William the Conqueror (f. 139), other treaties and proclamations connected with the peace of Troyes in 1420, etc. Paper; ff 181. Temp Hen.
