Vol. XVII. (ff. 91). GENERALITÉ de Limoges; "par M. de la Bourdonnaye, Intendant, Année 1698." This ascription is clearly a blunder; for in Boulainvilliers, as in other MS. copies, the article is ascribed to De Bernages, who was Intendant at Limoges in 1698, while De La Bourdonnaye was at Rouen (see above, vol. xii., and Almanac ou Calendrier for 1699, pp. 37, 39).
