"REGISTRUM cartarum Prioratus de Stone in comitatu Staffordiæ": a transcript, made in 1734 by David Casley, librarian of the Cotton Library, from Cotton MS. Vespasian E. xxiv., formerly belonging to Christopher, Lord Hatton (see Dugdale, Monasticon, vi. 1830, p. 226). Cotton Ch. xiii. 6 contains copies of twenty-two charters belonging to this Priory, written in a 12th cent. hand. Paper; ff. 79. Folio.
