There are 90 in all, the subjects of some being stated in general terms, e.g. "Idæa orationis qua nova vectigalia necessitatis Reipublicæ causa indicenda proponuntur ac suadentur," while others have imaginary names and circumstances attached to them, e.g. "Idæa orationis qua Helvidius Priscus usus est in Senatu post Vitellium sublatum, cum do principatu Vespasiani ageretur."
