"AN ESSAY on the ruins of Poesti, or Posidonia, with drawings taken on the spott, A.D. 1773"; by Sir William Young, Bart. The essay is the same as that in No. 791 above, and is preceded by the same dedication, in Latin elegiacs, to Lord Braybrooke. It is followed (ff. 15-26) by a letter to the same from Sir W. Young, "containing a summary account of Calabria and Apulia, etc." All three articles are in the author's hand. The essay and letter are illustrated by twelve water-colour drawings; and at f. l b is a print of the author's portrait by J. Brown (see No. 922, f. 1). Paper; ff. 26. Small Quarto.
