TRANSCRIPTS Of papal bulls relating to England, 1476-1533, most of the originals being now Stowe Charters 580-600 (see below). According to a note on f. 2, these transcripts were collated by Peter Le Neve, Norroy, in 1717, with the originals then in the possession of James Gibson, Town Clerk of London. Followed by:-
(a) Royal mandate, without date, to the Mayor and Sheriffs of London to publish statutes relating to wool, etc. f. 27;-(b) Copy of the foundation charter of Canwell Priory, co. Stafford, circ. 1142 (Dugdale, Monasticon, vol. iv. p. 105). f. 28. Paper; ff. 29. XVIIth cent. Belonged to Thomas Martin of Palgrave, and to Thomas Manning. Folio.
