King Edward, with Æthelred and Æthelflæd of the Mercians, renews for Æthelferth, dux, the charter destroyed by fire by which Athulf had granted 30 hides (cassati) at Monks Risborough, Buckinghamshire, to Æthelgyth, his daughter; dated 903, with English bounds (Sawyer, no. 367).
Endorsed in a 10th-century hand, ‘regnante’; and in a 12th-century hand, ‘aðulf dedit eastan [corrected to eastren] risberge. eðelgiðe filie sue.’ and ‘.latine.’
