Witnessed by King Æthelred; Dunstan, Archbishop of Canterbury; Oswald, Archbishop of York; and others.
Endorsed in a 15th-century hand, ‘Antiquus// calligraphus R. Angl’ Ethelredi de […] de hamstede ecclesie West’ concessum anno domini CCCCC lxxxviᵗᵒ […] limitibus // Midd’ // Westm’, a slightly later hand adding, ‘Hamstede’.
