DECREE of the Court of Requests in favour of Thomas Spurdans, son of Thomas Spurdans, of Crowfield, late executed for heresy, who claims to be admitted to copyhold lands called Arysfeilde and Popleys in Crowfield Manor [co. Suff.], against John Harbottell, "clayminge to have the same by waie of excheate by reasone of the said conviccion and of being the lorde and owner of the saide manor"; with rider that the question of the freehold lands claimed by the said Thomas is "fynallie dismyssed oute of this same courte." Dat. 5 June, 9 Eliz. [l567]. Signed by Thomas Sebford [?Master of the Court].
