NOTIFICATION by Rodbert, Dean, and the Chapter of St. Peter, York, of the confirmation by Peter de Cordelvilla, in their presence, of the church of Syreburne [Sherburn, W.R. co. York], with half a carucate of land, to the church and convent of Gyseburnia [Guisborough Priory, N.R. co. York], the latter undertaking to receive as canon a clerk of eighteen years of age, "sanum et incolumem," on the nomination of the said Peter or his heirs for ever; also that Rodbert, "clericus," has given up into the Dean's hand and abandoned that claim and suit which he had in the church of Syreburne.
