PAPAL INDULGENCE to John Goderich, rector of All Saints, Middilton Cheyneduyt [Middleton Chenduit, co. Northt.], absolving him from perjury committed in acquiring the said rectory in addition to his chaplaincy of Sponnes Chantry, in the parish church of Towcester, co. Northton, contrary to the express terms of the latter's foundation, with licence to continue to hold the two benefices. Dat. at Ravenna, xii. Kal. Apr. 8 Jul. II. [21 Mar.], 1510. Lat. Endorsed, "Johannes Tomes, nomine Johannis Goderich, exhibuit, xix. Junij, ao. 1537."
