1. Essays annotated by his tutors, J. A. Bennett and C. S. Lewis, some extensively; n.d. One essay has had a mark assigned. Originally in the same file as Add. 87759, and includes the original cardboard file which is the only evidence for his tutors’ identities.
2. Essays, mostly on sixteenth and seventeenth century subjects, some annotated by Tynan and some by his tutor (possibly C. S. Lewis); n.d. One essay was done under timed conditions, possibly for a scholarship. Includes original file with Tynan’s file title. Partly typewritten.
