Tynan Archive. Articles, almost entirely drafts, by Tynan, profiling actors, directors and other notable figures, some of the pieces written for the UK edition of Harpers Bazaar; circa 1953. They show varying degrees of annotation; several exist in two or more stages of development and one profile (that of Cyril Connolly) includes MS notes, galley proofs and draft page layouts. Two articles (those of Cecil Beaton and Terrence Rattigan) also exist in print, cut out from the magazines in which they finally appeared. Typewritten and printed, with MS additions.
