Miscellaneous keyboard music, as follows:-(1) Six sonatas, each comprising a study and a brief divertimento, by Francesco Durante (d. 1755), possibly copied from the printed edition, Naples, 1732, although the clefs have been modernised. Copy, 18th cent. ff. 65-75;-(2) Sonata in C major, attributed (f. 76) to Muzio Clementi (d. 1832). Copy, early 19th cent. ff. 76b- 79;-(3) 'Divertissement Militaire', in A major, attributed (f. 80) to Johann Baptist Cramer (d. 1858). Copy, mid 19th cent. ff. 80b-82b;- (4) '12 Walzer-3 Hopps: Walzer für Forte-piano' (f. 83), including (f. 89) a waltz from Weber's 'Preciosa'; mid 19th cent. ff. 83b-90;-(5) 'Ronde de la Neige Arrangée en Contredanse' (f. 91), with instructions for dancing, by L. Constantin, who published similar contredanses in 1820-1825. ff. 9Ib-92;-
(6) Songs, dance-tunes, etc., arranged for piano duet; 19th cent. The last piece is unfinished. ff. 93b-102. Presented by Cecil Hopkinson, Esq.
