O. Vellum fragments, removed from a binding and comprising the top halves of two conjoint leaves, each now measuring 133 mm.× 98 mm., containing 117 lines in rhyming octosyllabic couplets from a French version of the Prophecies of Merlin contained in the Historia Regum Britanniae of Geoffrey of Monmouth, book vii, ch. 4 (see the edition by A. Griscom, 1929, pp. 390-392); mid 14th cent. Written in double columns with initials in red.
