At ff. 144-151 are letters from Dr Andrew John Morland to Koteliansky and (f. 146) Mark Gertler, on D. H. Lawrence's last illness, 1930, which are printed by G. J. Zytaruk, op. cit. pp. 402-405. Some letters from Mme Fanni Kravchinsky, 1928-1938, mostly relating to the archives of her husband, the revolutionary, Sergei Mikhailovich Kravchinsky al. Stepniak, now in the U.S.S.R., are in Russian. Among a group of papers, 29 Apr.-18 June 1917 (ff. 13-71), relating to the Russian revolution, are statements of Britain's war aims and messages of greetings to the people of Russia obtained by Koteliansky (see his statement in Russian, f. 14, translated at f. 15) from prominent British liberals and radicals for Maxim Gorky's magazine New Life.
