7. ff. 186-190b. A bill to amend the law respecting church rates, 1861. Three copies, all printed. The first is a proof with extensive MS. annotations in red ink; the second has extensive annotations and the printed note 'Prepared from the scheme privately circulated by Mr Cross, Viscount Enfield, Mr Hanbury, and Mr Stanhope'. The last three names are cancelled and those of 'Mr Stanhope, Mr Heneage, and Mr. Portman' added by hand. The third copy is annotated in black ink and with pencil, and is imperfect.
