2. ff. 51-60v. Letters from Robert H. Evans, bookseller, to the 2nd Earl of Sheffield, relating to the sale of the manuscripts of his uncle, Lord Guilford; 1834-1835.
3. ff. 61-146v. Letters from Lady Charlotte Lindsay to Mary Berry; 1814-1826, n.d. Including ten unpublished letters, June-Nov. 1820, relating to the arrival in England and trial of Queen Caroline, supplementing the copies of Lady Charlotte's letters in Add. 37728, ff. 44-67, and the letters published in Lady Teresa Lewis, Extracts of the Journals and Correspondence of Miss Berry, 1783-1852 (1865), III, pp. 235-260. 4. ff. 147-159v. 'Mary Dawson: a Tale Of the 18th Century', part 1: an unpublished story in Lady Charlotte's hand, presumably composed by her; n.d. (watermarked 1836). Fair copy with a few alterations.
5. ff. 160-165v. Notes by Lady Charlotte on the Miss Berrys and the Norths, taken mainly from two of Horace Walpole's letters to Lady Ossory, first published in 1848; [1848-1849].
6. ff. 166-167v. Copy by Lady Charlotte of her last will, drawn up on 24 Jan. 1849; 1849.
7. ff. i-ii. 'Miss Berry's Portfolio', bearing the handwriting of Mary Berry, Lady Charlotte and an unknown writer, containing a lock of Mary Berry's hair, inscribed 'MB 1819'. The portfolio originally held the letters at 3 above, and probably others. Boxed separately.
