DROPMORE PAPERS. SERIES III. Vol. X (ff. 26). Anonymous bound volume, 'Seasonable Advice or A Sermon without Doors'; n.d. [circa 1803?] . Fair draft. Imperf., some pages have been cut out, others have been stuck down. Written in support of restoring the order of army chaplains to the British Army, of church reform, in particular the enforcement of residence in parishes and cathedral chapters, and of reform of the Church in India and in the West Indies. The author sems to have been a clergyman who had apparently served in the army, and who had been to the West Indies. Apparently published, or intended to be published, in a newpaper or newspapers.
