1. ff. 1-34. Proposition made by the Swiss Evangelical Cantons to the Emperor Matthias at the diet of Ratisbon, with related correspondence; 7 Aug.-10 Sept. 1613. Copies. French. At the end (ff. 25-32) is a list, in Dutch, of the officers of the Holy Roman Empire, docketed at the head 'Matricula Imperii'. From Add. 15.
2. ff. 35-72. Treaty of Xanten, with ratifications by the parties concerned, etc.; 2/12 Nov. 1614-17/27 Jan. 1615. Copies. French. Also included are a letter (f. 59) of James I to the Archduke Albert, 26 Dec. 1614, and correspondence of and relating to the Marquis Spinola. From Add. 15.
