1. ff. 1-61. Miscellaneous, partly oversize, documents of and directed to the Privy Council; 1603-1635 and n.d. These comprise papers (ff. 1-30) relating to the army, shipping and trade, etc., followed (ff. 31-61) by some petitions, mostly undated. For dated petitions see above, Add. 72416-72419 passim. From Misc. XVIII, XXXVI, XXXVII, XL and Add 4, 7, 13, 14, 16, 37, 38, 42.
2. ff. 62-91. Papers relating to the Privy Council enquiry into the administration of John Kendrick's Charity, Reading; 1624-1631. Some of the papers are in the hand of Sir John Coke, Secretary of State, and others are annotated, etc., by Trumbull, as one of the commisioners appointed to examine the case: see Acts of the Privy Council, 31 May 1631 and 12 July 1632.
