1 Detailed account, written in the first person, of the island of Jersey, its form of government, finances, courts, garrison and public officers, with candid comments on the capabilities or otherwise of each of them; [1670s?] . It is not clear from the text was composed by Trumbull, or whether he was only the transcriber. Beg.: 'Of the Military Government. The strength of Jersey does cheifly consist ...'.

2. 'Remarques et Animadversions Sur La Coustume Reformée de Normandie', showing how far it has been reformed and how practicable and applicable it is to Jersey and Guernsey, arranged by articles; 18 Sept. 1677. French.

3. Letter by George Legge, later Baron Dartmouth, to Charles II, 9 Jan. 1681, preceding 'A Brief State of Guernezey, by the Right Honourable Christopher Lord Hatton, present Governor of the said Island' (including a list of governors from 1111 A.D. and of public records relating to the island in the Rolls Chapel, Tower and State Paper Office), and [Sir Bernard de Gomme], 'Some short observations upon the Island of Jersey for the better Intelligence of the Map of the said Island: And more particularly about the Landing Places'; [1679]. Including a detailed and finely executed plan of Elizabeth Castle, Jersey, executed in pen and ink, with the key not in Trumbull's hand.
