Rattigan Papers. Vol. clxxxv. 'Goodbye Mr. Chips', 1965. Partly autograph, partly typewritten copy. A version, subsequently discarded, of the second part of a filmscript, of which the full, revised draft is in Add. 74473. The manuscript is headed "p. 24. To follow dissolve", and is typed on leaves numbered 24-71, and dated 24 Feb. 1965. The first 23 leaves of the typed version are not in the collection, and it is unclear whether they formed a preliminary draft or were identical to the text forming part 1 of Add. 74473. Film first shown, 29 Nov. 1969.
