2. ff. 3-6v. Letters of Thomas Beckwith, F.S.A., to:-(a) [Janet, wife of Major-Gen. John Beckwith], addressed simply as ‘Madam’, 11 Apr. 1783, relating to her ‘curious Manuscript Book’ on the family;-(b) Major-Gen. John Beckwith, circa 1783, thanking him for the loan of Charles Fairfax’s ‘Book’ (cf. above, 74756 A, f. 79v-80v) and enclosing a pedigree (ff. 5v, 6) of the families of Beckwith and Fairfax.
